Our new coffee roaster is being designed and built in Cape Town
What does a gas stove, a frying pan and a passion for coffee have in common? The start of a coffee roastery. Like so many coffee addicts, we tried and tested all the home roasting methods you can think of but it just didn’t seem to work. But one day…
‘But one day’ and ‘Why not?’ is what turned Singing Beans Coffee from only a dream into a family roastery that brings you the best artisan coffee in the world. Sourcing rare coffee beans from the Magoebaskloof mountain slopes to the islands of Guatemala, our focus is to keep our coffee unique and intriguing.
Today we still use our artisan roasting skills to create high quality coffee, but we use a much more advanced roasting machine that enhances the flavour of the roasted beans with its special double drum design. The roasting machine we use is as unique as our coffee. Designed to our specifications, it combines touch screen technology with an artisanal hands-on approach as the heat is manually adjusted to create the desired roasting level.
This is not high volume ‘push-button’ coffee roasting, this is artisan coffee roasting of the highest quality and we enjoy every moment of it…
So may you enjoy every memory making moment of our special coffee.
